Privacy Policy
At QuickCal, we treat Your schedule data with the highest standard of privacy. Read about our serverless processing and secure Google connections below.

1. We Don't Store Your Schedules
QuickCal operates as a server-light utility. When you upload a timetable screenshot, an Excel spreadsheet, or a PDF file, the file is parsed dynamically in-memory by our backend services solely to perform OCR text extraction.
Once the schedule text is structured and sent back to your browser, all uploaded files and transient data are permanently discarded from our processing containers. We maintain no persistent databases, logs of schedule content, or history of extracted files.
2. Google Account Security & Permissions
QuickCal connects to your Google Calendar using official Google Identity Services OAuth 2.0 authorization:
- Direct Authorization: The login pop-up operates directly on Google's servers. calendarimport.com never collects, views, or stores your Google account email or password.
- Scoped Permissions: We request only the
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.eventsscope, which limits our capabilities strictly to managing events on your primary calendar. We cannot read your contacts, access emails, or inspect other calendar files. - Token Disposal: The temporary OAuth access token generated by Google is stored client-side in your browser's session memory, utilized immediately to push the review rows to your calendar, and then cleared.
3. Cookies & Tracking
QuickCal does not use tracking cookies, targeted marketing tools, or cross-site analytics trackers. We use local browser storage (localStorage) solely to persist your local user preferences (like your selected light or dark mode theme).
4. Changes to This Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy occasionally to reflect technical changes in how we interface with Gemini or Google API gateways. Any updates will be immediately posted on this page with the updated date.
